Choosing the correct size is an important part of selecting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). PPE that fits properly provides better protection, greater comfort, and allows workers to move safely and efficiently.
From coveralls and gloves to safety helmets, footwear and fall protection harnesses, the right fit can make a significant difference in both safety and user comfort.
PPE is designed to provide protection only when it is worn correctly and fits the user appropriately.
PPE that is too loose may interfere with movement, become caught on equipment, or leave areas insufficiently protected. PPE that is too tight can restrict movement, cause discomfort, and make it difficult to wear for extended periods.
